System Architecture
Graphics Finder uses powerful, custom-programmed background utilities, a fast webserver, middleware and database, that delivers superior performance to the user to locate, copy, and maintain their graphics library. Once configured and installed, the system is virtually self-maintaining. All the user needs to do is to drag-and-drop files onto the server for the files to be available to the system.

Architecture
GF is hosted either locally on the client’s web-enabled fileserver or through a hosting firm. Due to this architecture, the application can be available to anybody with a web connection. The application accesses the server's underlying directory structure, performing searches, reading directories, automatically detecting new files, creating database entries, creating preview and larger thumbnails, collecting data on the files, and delivering its results back to the user.
